IN THE WORKS
Do me a favor. When you read this page, pretend you're reading my blog. Who has time to write a blog? Everyone except me, apparently. But I digress. Check this clever pop-up page (thank you, Sasha) often to find out what I'm doing now, and when you'll get to read it, and in some cases, how I feel about it. Kind of like What It's Like To Live Now--now.

Mag Jag
I've been writing magazine articles like crazy. In the trade, that's known as a Mag Jag. Writing a book takes longer than many relationships last. Not mine, of course. I'm speaking hypothetically here. Writing for magazines is pure flirtation. Magazine stories are hotties. They're fast, pretty, involve constant contact with interesting people, and offer near-instant gratification, since (unlike books) they normally appear in the same Millennium in which they were written. I get to work with some swell editors, too.

Here's what's in the pipeline at the moment.
"Q&A with Lisa Endlich," More Magazine, December 2008
"Teens and Meth," a feature for Family Circle Magazine, February 2009
"My Father, My Lie," a feature for Playboy Magazine, February 2009
"Let That Grudge Go," a feature for Ladies Home Journal, March 2009
"The Activism Cure," a feature for More Magazine, March 2009
"No Such Thing As A Free Lunch," a profile for Health Magazine (unscheduled)
"My Father's Mind ," a feature for More Magazine, (unscheduled)
